Corrective Decree to the Cartabia Reform of the criminal proceedings
On June 17, 2024, attorney-at-law Federica Liparoti was a speaker at the webinar “The Corrective Decree to the Cartabia Reform of the criminal proceedings”. The webinar aimed to offer an examination of the corrective and supplementary interventions that Legislative Decree No. 31 of March 19, 2024, effective April 4, 2024, made to the Cartabia Reform of Criminal Justice in order to overcome some critical application issues that emerged in the first implementation phase. The legislative interventions that involved a plurality of aspects of the criminal justice system will be analyzed, from the prosecution on complaint to the proceedings in their different phases and variables: preliminary investigation, trial in absentia, alternative rites, appeals judgments, up to the criminal jurisdiction of the justice of the peace and complementary legislation.
